Among fragmented imagery within mixed media-layered paintings and sculptures, a paradox of escapism and confrontation runs through my work. Interactions of various materials such as remnants of old paintings, found objects, 3D printed doodles, found objects and handmade photographs form collage-like compositions within unexpected juxtapositions. Within these distorted figurations, I create visually overwhelming spaces inspired by the psychological residue of burnout—how women, often overburdened with emotional and invisible labor, find that even rare moments of stillness are clouded by a flood of anxious thought. By engaging with materials and processes in an intuitive yet deliberate way, I aim to unearth fleeting moments of liminality and intensity—the tension of being on the edge of breakdown, the weight of past experiences pressing against the present, and the inner dialogue visualized.
