OUT OF TIME
Out of Time is a lyrical series of photographs on medium format film that reflect on relationships with oneself, personal moments of being in time, and spaces of comfort. Inspired by our often fragmented perceptions of time and memory, this project investigates how we can be present in a moment in time and simultaneously experience other sensations such as a personal flashback, waves of nostalgia from triggering sensations, and moments that might cause one to lose a grip on time. These portraits and meditative photographs of spaces in this body of work mounted on torn charcoal drawings reflect the tension, fragility and brokenness surrounding womanhood and mortality.
